Technical guitar plays tinged with neo-classical flavour, stable powerful double-bass, well-arranged symphonic synth-effects, etc. etc. This band is a real secret tip for you.- by Masa -

Be It the punchy double bass drum attacks, the gripping vocals, the hyper-melodic pieces or the blistering guitar duels, this Frensh metal commando covers all different classic aspects within their metallic realms neatly and should leave definitely no metal fan, whether traditional or melodic heavy metal or bombastic power metal of the new millennium, you name it, disappointed. National and international success guaranteed with "Black Heart".- by Pumpkinique -

The guitar player, Mikael Fitzryk, has been unknown to me until I got this CD but he should deserve much more attention for sure! His guitar play has a big presence, in both backings and solos! It seems that he is able to put any elements on his playing flexibly, whether progressive or neo-classical. - by Masa -

Mikael Fitrzyk’s fret work is strongest when it comes to his soloing, which like many Power Metal guitarists, comes from the whole Malmsteen/Uli Jon Roth School of thought, but he tends to put his own stamp on the arpeggios by keeping them from becoming too flashy and masturbatory. Frederic Glo’s Vocals don’t really fit the whole Power Metal stereotyped operatic alto; his vocals are raspier with the highs complimented by the background harmonies. - by Hashman -

Guitarist Mikael Fitrzyk is a monster... - by Rumplesmoothskin -

Finally a vocalist who doesn't sing like Bruce, Halford or Michael Kiske... - by Danny -

....Frederic Glo`s more mid-range vocals, which are a welcome respite from the usual gang of Helloween squealers! His vocals are the perfect compliment to Invictus` at times darker, more melancholy sound; "Since The Day" is a perfect example of this, and this track also features great lead work from Fitrzyk. - by Dave -

And even with the high calibre musicianship these guys possess [and unlike many acts who mine the same Prog Metal genre] Invictus seem more concerned with actual SONGS, not just excuses for endless soloing. - by Hashman -
